How Esporta handles information, why it is used, how it is shared, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Esporta ("Esporta", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Esporta mobile application and the esporta.site website (together, the "Service").

Esporta is designed as a purpose-built esports social ecosystem for players, teams, creators, coaches, managers, analysts and other people participating in esports. Because the Service is community-oriented, some information and content you choose to publish is intentionally made available to other members.

This policy describes the categories of information we may handle, the purposes for which we use that information, how information may be shared, how long it may be retained, and the choices that may be available to you.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be handled as described in this Privacy Policy. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and any additional notices presented within the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Esporta develops, introduces new features, or changes how the Service operates. When appropriate, we will communicate material changes through the app, website, or another reasonable channel.

2. Information we handle

The information we handle depends on how you use Esporta and the features you choose to use. Some information is provided directly by you, some is generated through your use of the Service, and some may be created as part of operating and securing the platform.

Account and profile information may include the information you choose to provide when creating and maintaining your esports identity, such as your name, username, profile details, games, roles, gaming identity, experience, achievements, location-related profile information, team associations and other information you decide to add to your profile.

Team and organization information may include team names, team profiles, roster information, roles, team relationships, invitations, ownership or management information, recruitment information and other details associated with managed profiles or teams.

Content you create may include posts, captions, images, videos, short-form content, profile and cover media, recruitment posts and other material you voluntarily publish or upload through the Service.

Interactions and activity may include information associated with actions you take within the Service, such as following, applying, hiring-related interactions, joining-related activity, proposals, comments, reactions, searches, notifications and similar interactions supported by the platform.

Technical and operational information may include information required to operate, maintain, secure and improve the Service, such as device, application, network, usage, diagnostics, performance and security-related information.

Contact information may include your email address and the contents of a message when you contact us directly. We use this information primarily to understand and respond to your request.

Information may also be associated with account security and authentication processes where necessary to protect your account, verify activity, recover access, prevent abuse or maintain the integrity of the Service.

3. Information you choose to publish

Esporta is a social and community platform. Information that you deliberately place on your public or community-facing profile, team profile, post, recruitment listing or other public area may be visible to other users.

Before publishing content, consider whether you are comfortable making that information available to other members. This is particularly important for contact details, personal information, location information, external links and other information that may identify or describe you.

Some information may remain visible as part of another person's or team's content after you interact with it. For example, an interaction, team relationship or recruitment activity may appear in the relevant feature depending on how that feature is designed.

You are responsible for the information you choose to publish and for ensuring that you have the necessary rights or permissions to publish any content you upload to Esporta.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide, operate and maintain Esporta and its features, including account functionality, profiles, teams, social interactions, content, discovery and esports-related opportunities.

We use information to personalize and support relevant experiences within the platform, such as displaying your profile, connecting you with relevant people or teams, supporting discovery, feeds, search, recruitment and other product functionality.

We may use information to protect the Service and its members. This can include detecting spam, abuse, fraud, impersonation, unauthorized access, suspicious activity and violations of our Terms & Conditions.

We may use technical and operational information to diagnose failures, understand performance, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability and maintain the security of the Service.

We may use information to communicate with you about account activity, security, service changes, support requests, important notices and other communications necessary to operate the platform.

Where applicable and permitted, we may also send optional product or service communications based on your communication preferences.

We do not sell personal information as a business activity.

5. Recommendations, discovery and platform functionality

Esporta includes features designed to help people discover relevant profiles, teams, content and opportunities within the esports ecosystem. Information associated with your profile, activity, preferences, content and interactions may be used to operate these features.

For example, information may help determine which profiles, teams, content or opportunities are more relevant to a particular user or context. The exact experience may vary depending on the feature and the information available to the Service.

Recommendation and discovery functionality is intended to improve relevance and product usability. It does not guarantee that any particular person, team, opportunity or content will be shown to you or to another user.

6. How we share information

We may make information available to other Esporta members when you choose to use community-facing features. This may include your profile information, published posts, team information, recruitment content and other information that is intentionally presented through the Service.

We may share information with service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate the Service, such as providers supporting hosting, storage, media delivery, communications, security or other technical operations. These providers are used to perform services for Esporta rather than to independently market Esporta users' information.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal process, enforce our agreements, protect the rights or safety of Esporta, our users, or others, or investigate suspected abuse or security incidents.

If Esporta is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable legal requirements.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes as part of the normal operation of Esporta.

7. Third-party services and links

Esporta relies on selected third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate parts of the platform. Depending on the feature being used, information may be processed by these providers on behalf of Esporta.

Third-party services may have their own privacy policies, terms and data practices. Their handling of information may therefore be governed by their own policies in addition to the protections and restrictions applicable to Esporta.

Esporta may also contain links or references to third-party websites, services, profiles or other external destinations. Once you leave the Service or interact directly with a third party, that third party's own terms and privacy practices may apply.

We encourage you to review the relevant third-party privacy information before providing information directly to an external service.

8. Advertising and sponsored content

Esporta may display advertising or sponsored content as part of the Service. Advertising partners or technology providers may process certain information necessary to deliver, measure, protect or manage advertising services, subject to the configurations and policies applicable to the relevant advertising technology.

The availability, format and personalization of advertisements may vary by platform, region, device and applicable settings.

Advertising does not give advertisers ownership of your Esporta account. We do not sell your personal information simply because advertisements are displayed within the Service.

Where advertising controls or privacy choices are provided by the relevant platform or advertising technology, those controls may affect how advertisements are presented to you.

9. Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, maintain legitimate business and operational records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

When you delete content or request deletion of your account, Esporta may remove the relevant information from the active service and initiate associated cleanup processes. Deletion may therefore involve operational processing rather than an instantaneous removal from every system.

Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, security records, audit records, or other systems where immediate deletion is not technically or operationally practical, or where retention is required for legitimate legal or security reasons.

Where retention is no longer necessary and no applicable exception requires continued storage, information will be deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with our operational retention practices.

10. Your account and privacy choices

You can review and update certain account, profile and content information through the Service. The availability of specific controls depends on the feature and account state.

You may choose what information to include in your profile, what content to publish, and whether to participate in optional community activities. You should avoid publishing information that you do not want other members to see.

You may request deletion of your account, subject to applicable legal, security, operational and fraud-prevention requirements. Account deletion may affect access to your profile, content, teams, interactions and other connected functionality.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights concerning your personal information, including rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent where consent is the relevant legal basis.

To ask a question about your information or request that we review a privacy-related matter, contact us at hello@esporta.site.

11. Account security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss and other security threats. Security controls may include authentication protections, access controls, validation, abuse prevention, monitoring and other measures appropriate to operating a consumer social platform.

You are also responsible for protecting your account. Use a strong and unique password, keep account credentials private, and do not share authentication codes or access credentials with other people.

If you believe that your account has been compromised or that someone has accessed it without authorization, contact us as soon as possible so that appropriate steps can be considered.

No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. Although we work to protect the Service, we cannot guarantee that every transmission, storage system or security control will always be completely secure.

12. Children's privacy

Esporta is not intended to be a service for children below the minimum age permitted by the applicable app-store age rating, applicable law, or other age requirements presented when the Service is used.

We do not knowingly seek to maintain accounts for individuals who are below the applicable minimum age. If we become aware that an account has been created in violation of an applicable age requirement, we may take appropriate action, including restricting or removing the account.

Parents or legal guardians who believe that a child has provided information to Esporta in violation of the applicable age requirement may contact us at the address provided below.

13. International processing

Esporta and the third-party infrastructure used to operate the Service may process or store information in countries other than the country in which you live.

As a result, information may be subject to the laws of the country in which it is processed or stored. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to address international data transfers in accordance with relevant legal requirements.

The exact location of processing may vary as infrastructure, providers and operational requirements change.

14. Cookies and similar technologies

The esporta.site website may use necessary browser technologies or similar mechanisms to support essential website functionality, security and reliability.

The exact technologies used by the website may change as the website evolves. Where non-essential tracking or similar technologies are introduced in a way that creates additional privacy choices or disclosure requirements, the relevant information may be added to this Privacy Policy or presented through an appropriate notice.

Your browser and device may also provide their own controls for limiting or managing cookies, local storage and similar technologies.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in Esporta, new features, changes to service providers, operational requirements, or applicable legal requirements.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, on this website, or through another reasonable communication method.

The updated policy will be effective from the date stated on this page unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means that the updated policy will apply to your continued use of Esporta, subject to applicable law.

16. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to understand how your information is handled, or want to submit a privacy-related request, contact Esporta at hello@esporta.site.

When contacting us about an account or privacy request, please provide enough information for us to understand and process the request. We may need to verify the requester's identity or account ownership before providing account-specific information or taking certain actions.
